Bailiwick Celebrates Liberation Day
The Bailiwick is celebrating the 74th anniversary of Liberation Day with a packed programme of events.
The Band of the Royal Armoured Corps is in Guernsey for the first time and leading the parade before the Liberation Church Service at 11am.
There is live music at Castle Cornet, Albert Pier and many other places around the islands, a military cavalcade from 2pm and a family zone on the Crown Pier.
Islanders are expected to come together to commemorate the end of five years of Nazi rule.
