In the local sport this weekend, Guernsey’s under 21 footballers head to Jersey for the Ambassadeur Bowl.

Guernsey have held the trophy for the last four years, which gives them a 17-13 lead over the whole of the competition.

Kick off is at 2pm at Springfield Stadium in St Helier.

Meanwhile, Guernsey FC welcomes Greenwich Borough to Footes Lane on Sunday.

Last time out the Green Lions lost 3-1 at home to Whyteleafe so they will be hoping for a better result this weekend.

The club has a hashtag for the end of season run-in, #StandByGFC. Standing tickets will be £1 for adults and free for under 16s.

In the rugby, the Raiders welcome the Taunton Titans as they play at home.

The Sark Triathlon is back for its fourth year. Competitors will swim 200-300m from Creux Harbour, run 7.7km uphill and round it off with a two-lap 13.6km cycle course.
