Flybe to operate Guernsey Heathrow link
Guernsey is going to have a direct connection with Heathrow airport for the first time in 20 years.
As part of the new Open Skies policy, Flybe will operate a direct daily route between the island and London’s largest airport.
Flights begin on the 31st March and will be run by a 78-seat Bombadier Dash 8 Q400 aircraft.
The new service will operate seven days a week, departing Guernsey Airport at 14.40 for a 15.45 arrival in to Heathrow.
The return leg is scheduled for 17.20 out of Heathrow, arriving back in Guernsey at 18.25.
The new route aims to give Guernsey residents better connectivity – with many long-haul flights available from Heathrow – and encourage more visitors from the UK and further afield to holiday in the island.
Tickets are available now and you can book them by visiting flybe.com.
Guernsey’s Open Skies policy was introduced in September, and has welcomed six new air routes since.
