Guernsey FC Players In Court
Two Guernsey FC players appeared in court this morning – both charged with assault.
Keiran Mahon and Paris Pereira were both charged in connection with completely separate incidents earlier this year.
19 year old Pereira appeared in court with another 19 year old, after they were involved in two incidents, involving the same man, in March.
Pereira admitted assault, and was fined £500.
Magistrate Philip Robey told the court he believed it was out of character for Periera to act the way he had, and he was satisfied the assault was at the lower end of the scale.
24 year old Mahon also admitted assault after an incident in February.
A probation service report is being prepared before he is sentenced – which will happen next month.
He has been released on unconditional bail until then.
