Guernsey lawyer to appear on MasterChef 2019
A Guernsey resident will appear on our TV screens this evening, as the opening heat of MasterChef 2019 gets underway.
Associate at Carey Olsen, Lisa Bailey, is one of the 56 amateur chefs to make it through to the televised stages of the show, which received thousands of applications.
Lisa is one of the seven contestants taking part in tonight’s heat, which will see the top three chefs go through to the quarter final.
Hosts and judges, John Torode and Gregg Wallace, will decide which chefs make it through.
Lisa can’t disclose how she got on in the pre-recorded show yet, but says it was a great experience:
‘It was incredible opportunity to participate in one of my favourite shows on TV.
‘I am a huge MasterChef fan and I am delighted I was lucky enough to take part in MC2019’.
The episode will air at 9pm this evening on BBC1.
