FINAL GBG EVENING CYCLE RIDE OF THE SEASON

Including a photo-hunt around the West Coast! People will head off in groups of up to 4 riders and answer clues from photos taken in and around the west coast area. As ever, points mean prizes! There are a few twists and turns along the way, but most importantly this is a family friendly social evening out on two wheels.

As ever, these rides are gentle paced, family friendly, and suitable for all ages and abilities everyone is welcome to join the ride. No matter what sort of bike you have – road, mountain, city, cruiser, electric, tag-along – everyone is welcome. Lycra is not encouraged or required!

TWILIGHT CINEMA AT CASTLE CORNET

Beau Cinema will move to Castle Cornet for one week in August for a series of special outdoor twilight film screenings of The Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society.

Each night at 7pm the top lawn plays host to an open air cinema and a big outdoor screen will offer locals and visitors the chance to experience watching the film about our island’s unique history in the beautiful historical setting of Castle Cornet.

The film, which premiered in Guernsey in 2018 follows the story of writer Juliet Ashton and her relationship with an eccentric group of people who, having suffered the experiences of Occupation in Guernsey during WWII, find solace in books, reading and the simple pleasure of each other’s company.
