Wesley Methodist Church are holding the latest of their Saturday morning drop-ins today, from 10:30am – 1:00pm

This will be taking place in the church hall at Le Grand Bouet.

Tea and coffee, bacon, sausage and egg sandwiches will be sold and served; while there will also be a few stalls for browsing. Free daily papers to peruse and plenty of opportunity for a chat, and toys to keep the children entertained.

Parking is available in the church car park by the traffic lights on the corner of Grand Bouet/Pitronnerie Road.

LES BOURGS HOSPICE ROCK TO ROCQUE CYCLE RIDE

The 25th annual Rock to Rocque cycle ride has 3 start points. The main one is at the top of Val des Terres at 8:45am, then Rocquaine at 9:45am and finally Grande Rocques at 10:45am, all finishing up at the North Beach. The finish point is manned until at least 3pm.

Registration can be done online at lesbourgshospice.org.gg, or on the day.

Alderney has over 30 miles of footpaths and tracks with stunning scenery, unique wildlife and friendly natives. Plenty to see and do when you finish walking and running! The Coast Path Challenge is a 5 mile and 10 mile trail route for runners and walkers held in May every year. It follows the fabulous coast path for one lap of the island, half a lap for 5 mile race.

Sarnia Arts & Crafts Club invite all artists over the age of 16 to take part in their annual ‘En Plein Air’ painting competition being held this year at The National Trust of Guernsey’s Les Caches Farm, Jubilee Walk and Fields on June 19th. The winner will receive a £100 cash prize and have their name inscribed on the ‘En Plein Air’ Trophy which will be presented to them by the club’s Patron, Lady Corder, at the Sarnia Arts & Crafts Club Exhibition in July.

SARNIA ARTS & CRAFTS CLUB EXHIBITION OF EN PLEIN AIR

Following Sarnia Arts & Crafts Club’s ‘En Plein Air’ painting competition, there’ll be an exhibition of all the entries at the National Trust of Guernsey’s Les Caches Farm.

You’ll be able to see the winning painting chosen by the judges, together with all the other entries, and you can vote for your favourite.

The exhibition will be open daily between 10am and 4pm.
