Local businesses asked for views on Brexit
The States are asking local businesses to share their views on Brexit.
A study has been commissioned by Economic Development and Policy & Resources to assess the potential impact Brexit will have on Bailiwick businesses.
BMG Research will be the firm taking on the study, and will be contacting firms in Guernsey, Alderney and Sark for information on their trading and employment practices. The company will also gather views on the opportunities and challenges of Brexit, as well as joining the World Trade Organisation.
The findings will then be used to help the States prepare for the UK’s exit from the European Union.
Trained market researchers will be calling a sample of businesses of varying sizes, across various economic sectors, as part of its research.
Any businesses which are not contacted directly, or don’t wish to participate in the phone survey have the opportunity to complete an online version.
Details will be made available here later this month.
Businesses can also request to take part in the telephone survey by supplying their contact details to firstname.lastname@example.org.
