Guernsey Water Warns Of Algae Problem

Chill your water before drinking it, to get rid of any earthy or musty tastes.

Guernsey Water says it has taken the St Saviour’s Reservoir offline while it sorts out an algae problem which has left people living in the south, centre and east of the island with funny tasting water.

Operations Manager Jon Holt says it is perfectly safe but may not taste very nice.
