Police Investigation Continues After Vale ‘Incident’

A police investigation is ongoing following an incident in the Vale over the weekend. Details are scarce, however, we do know that seven people were arrested after a man was assaulted and sustained facial injuries which required hospital treatment.

“Guernsey Police are continuing enquiries into an incident in the early hours of Saturday morning. Seven people have been arrested for involvement in an incident where a man was assaulted and sustained facial injuries. Hospital treatment was required, but he was released the same day. Some of the those arrested are also under investigation for drug related offences that came to light during police action.  Everyone arrested were subsequently released on bail while police continue with their enquiries. We are not seeking any further witnesses at this time.”

At 6am on Saturday morning Guernsey Police closed down three roads around Braye Road while they conducted a search following the incident.
