Senior Politicians Set Up Group To Deal With Town Quay
Guernsey’s senior politicians have set up a working party to deal with the situation at the Town Quay and on the Albert Pier.
The Environment and Public Services department ministers are in the group.
The Chief Minister and Commerce and Employment Minister are also on the working party along with senior civil servants.
They want to agree some short term improvements for the current trial period while looking at ways of improving things next year.
They also want to work with town retailers and shoppers to ensure everyone can access town while supporting our cruise liner industry.
The working party met for the first time this week and say they want to listen to people who have ideas for improving the Town Quay and Albert Pier but haven’t yet shared them.
