Richard Harding is Island FM's host of the Daytime Show.
Richard has chalked up his quarter century in the business, having begun his career on a pirate radio station broadcasting to the Middle East from a rusty ship in 1988.
Richard speaks fluent French and is trying to help save the local language Dgernésiais. He is also a St Peter Port Douzainier (councillor) & qualified as a Silver Guernsey Tour Guide.
Carl was part of the station’s launch team in 1992. He's the host of Island FM's drivetime show.
Catch him on-air weekdays from 2-6pm where you can have a go at guessing the year & movie on the Top 3 at 3 for a chance to win. There’s regular news, lifestyle & sport throughout the show, as well as showbiz updates at 4:35pm & 5:35pm. Join in with the drivetime quiz at 5:50pm, & the best in music is guaranteed throughout the afternoon.
The “Station Loner” because of his hours, you can find Andrew on the Weekday Evening Show, the Friday Night Vibe and Sport Saturday. Whether it’s the Floor Fillers, the Camp Anthem or an overdose of local sport, Andrew has the lot.
Andrew moved to the Bailiwick from South Devon in 2007, and joined the Island FM team in 2009. A Torquay United fan, he gets stick from Carl, but the Gulls will always remember the time they beat Spurs in the Littlewoods Cup in 1987!
Laura Clayton is Island FM’s News Editor – a role which means she is responsible for all of our news output on air and online.
Laura is a born and bred Guernsey-girl but spent a few years working for local, regional and national radio stations in Jersey and the UK after graduating from university, before returning to run our news desk.
Away from the airwaves Laura runs marathons and does some dancing – but her real passion is the news.
