Police appeal for witnesses after man is struck by vehicle

Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was hit by a passing vehicle on Monday.

The male cyclist was stood on the pavement when he was hit in the back of the head by what is thought to have been the wing mirror of a passing lorry.

He suffered blurred vision, pain, and confusion for some time and police are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident.
