Seven Known Cases Of COVID-19 In Guernsey

Public Health confirms there is no evidence of community seeding.

Public Health has confirmed there are clear links between these cases which is helpful in the track, trace & containment of this virus.

Speaking at today's media briefing the new chair of the Civil Contingencies Authority, Deputy Peter Ferbrache had this to say:

'Nothing will change, there's no need to panic, everything is under control, there will be no changes in policy. Every decision will be communicated to the community quickly and clearly as will any change in circumstances.'

Director of Pubic Health Dr Nicola Brink says there is no evidence of community seeding:

'What we absolutely don't have is wide-spread community seeding of the virus. It's a defined cluster that we're controlling. It is not eight cases that are occurring unrelated around the community. That would be a different conversation.'
