Jersey Politicians Send Well-Wishes To PM

Jersey's Chief Minister has joined world leaders in sending messages of goodwill to Boris Johnson.

The UK Prime Minister has been in Intensive Care at a central London hospital overnight after his coronavirus symptoms worsened.

Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab has been asked to deputise for the Prime Minister, chairing this morning's 'war cabinet' to discuss the evolving pandemic.

Senator John Le Fondré says he wishes Boris a full recovery and a swift return to Downing Street.

Deputy Chief Minister, Senator Lyndon Farnham, paid his own respects; saying he hopes and prays the PM comes through this ordeal as quickly as possible.
