Manche Iles Ferries Suspended

Less than a week after resuming sailings, Manche Iles Express has suspended them.

The ferry operator says there's been a 'drastic' decline in passenger numbers, which it puts down to Jersey's tightened border control measures:

"In order to control the COVID pandemic on their island, the States of Jersey has put in place a sanitary protection protocol for all incoming passengers. As a consequence, in this travel context, the volume of passengers on our ferry links have reduced drastically.

"Therefore, the Conseil Departemental de la Manche has consulted Manche Iles Express and has decided to suspend all ferry services until further notice."

All of the company's ferries have been cancelled from today.

Manche Iles says passengers affected can move to any future sailing up until the end of 2021 for free by calling 01534 880756.
