Aurigny losses worse than first thought
Deputy Gavin St Pier has revealed Aurigny’s losses are worse than first thought.
Forecast losses have increased by around 70 per cent, from 4 point 4 million pounds to 7 point 6 million pounds.
Deputy St Pier told the States there are a number of reasons for the figures increasing by such a large amount – such as the rise in competition following the open skies decision last year.
He has called for a debate on the airline in the States, calling the forecasts ‘unsustainable’.
