About the position:
Job Title: Electrician
Job Location: Les Vardes Quarry
Ronez are looking for an experienced Electrician to join the maintenance team at their Les Vardes Quarry site.
The role is interesting, varied and involves working on a wide range of equipment, including quarry processing, asphalt, ready mix concrete and pre-cast concrete producing plant.
Duties will involve carrying out fault finding and repairs on a range of motors, control and distribution equipment as well as routine maintenance and inspections on plant at our sites in Guernsey.
The ideal candidate will have a City & Guilds level 3 qualification as an Electrician, experience and knowledge in commercial and industrial installations. On the job training will be provided to an enthusiastic candidate with some relevant experience . The ability to work safely as part of a team is essential.
Experience of working at height and working in confined spaces will be an advantage.
The successful applicant must be prepared to work overtime when required.
The position offers an excellent remuneration package and conditions, including a company vehicle and generous pension.
