Open Boxing Event (Guernsey V Western Counties)

This is a real community show, and the island is firmly behind us. Our club has produced three Commonwealth boxers, with two more now working towards the next Commonwealth Games. For such a small island, that is an extraordinary achievement, and something Guernsey can be incredibly proud of.

The event takes place this Saturday 17 October at Beau Sejour, with doors opening at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. It will showcase some very promising local talent, and we’d love listeners to come along and support the next generation of Guernsey boxers.

Remaining tickets are available through the Beau Sejour website.

As well as the sport, Guernsey Amalgamated Boxing Club is a charity that gives a huge amount back to the island. We support children with social, emotional and educational challenges, welcome school referrals, work with the Parkinson’s community, and run sessions for over-65s through social prescribing.
