Friends of the Priaulx Library are pleased to announce a showing of 'Strling's War' - a film by Guernsey-based Element Films.
Filmed during 2021, 'Stirling's War' is the true story of an RAF fighter pilot who ended up parachuting out of his crippled Hurricane aircraft during a chase with a German bomber in April 1941, and ended up on the small uninhabited of Lihou in the middle of the night.
The film highlights the events that unfolded and the thought-provoking, bitter-sweet ending.
