A Star for a Star! Who deserves to top St Peter Port's Christmas Tree?
This Christmas, we’re looking for someone truly special to be in charge of a very important job - and we want YOU to tell us who that should be.
Sure by Beyon and Island FM are on the hunt for the 2025 Sure Christmas Star; someone who brightens the lives of others and would be the perfect fit for the job of 'Christmas tree star topper.' Up up and away in a cherry picker, this person will get to place the star on top of the Market Square Christmas tree.
It could be someone who supports you when you need it most, someone who always goes the extra mile, or someone who spreads joy wherever they go.
The Prize
One incredible person will be invited live on air on Monday 24th November and crowned the 2025 Sure Christmas Star. They'll be given the role of placing the star on top of the Market Square Christmas tree that same day- ahead of the magical big switch-on, on Saturday 29th November - along with a TCL Android handset courtesy of Sure.
Plus, the two runner ups will also receive a free TCL Android handset as an early Christmas present from Sure, as a thank you for being so wonderful.
Imagine the applause, the lights, and the festive atmosphere as your nominee becomes the shining star of Guernsey’s Christmas.
Who Can You Nominate?
Absolutely anyone aged six or over - it could be a friend, a neighbour, a teacher, a volunteer, a family member, a colleague… anyone who makes life a little brighter.
Why We’re Doing It
Community is at the heart of Sure by Beyon and Island FM, and this year we want to celebrate the people who make a difference in our island community. What better way than by letting one remarkable person place the star that lights up St Peter Port over the festive period.
