Ex-Premier League player Andros Townsend has laughed off an incident that saw him run over by a pitch roller.
The former Tottenham and Crystal Palace winger was warming up at half-time with his PT Prachuap teammates during their away game at Pattani.
But as he was doing so, a member of staff appeared to lose control of the ride-on pitch roller - running over the 35-year-old.
In footage of the collision, Townsend's left leg can be seen getting stuck under the vehicle, which then tips to one side, unseating its driver.
Making light of the moment on Instagram, Townsend referenced a recent post where he compared a sun-drenched Thai away day with visits to Stoke's windswept bet365 Stadium.
"It turns out Stoke away wasn't so bad after all. Swipe to see why," he wrote, before sharing a clip of the incident.
Townsend also reshared a post labelling him 'The King of Memes in Thai League history', adding the words "trust me" and four laughing emojis.

The attacker did still manage to play in the match, coming off the bench during his side's 3-0 win.
Townsend left the English Football League behind in 2024 and initially signed for Turkish side Antalyaspor.
In August last year, he relocated to Thailand and joined Kanchanaburi Power, before signing for his current club over the summer.
