14 Days Isolation For All UK Arrivals

People arriving in the Bailiwick from any UK region now have to isolate for 14 days.

Mid Wales and the Scottish Islands have been added to Group A.

That is in addition to Southeast and Southwest England, which we were told earlier this week would become Group A regions today (8 October).

It means there is no nowhere in the UK that doesn’t require the two week quarantine period on arrival in Guernsey.

In addition Jersey has been added to the Group B watch list, along with Norway and San Marino.

Meanwhile, anyone arriving in Jersey from Guernsey or other 'green' areas on its Safe Travel List from next Tuesday (13 October) onwards will have to isolate until they receive the results of the PCR test they take at the ports.

The authorities are aiming to have the average wait down to 12 hours.

More details of Guernsey's current travel restrictions can be found here.
