Knitters from St Andrew’s parish have created more than 200 colourful knitted angels for patients at the PEH.
More than 200 angels have been taken to the Princess Elizabeth Hospital from St Andrew's church after being blessed by its rector, Tim Barker.
A team of enthusiastic knitters created them to bring Christmas joy to patients and in previous years, they've been snapped up quickly.
Tim Barker says everyone involved enjoys it:
"Every fortnight they've been gathering at the rectory to knit together and chat, eat biscuits and drink coffee, so it's social but also something that people can do at home to keep them busy in the dark winter evenings.
"Every angel is unique, and they're knitted with love as a gift to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.
"They bring joy, and it's a little way of making a difference."
People at the parish church have been knitting angels every year since December 2018.
