A UK theatre company has come to Guernsey to show 500 Year 9 pupils the possible consequences of underage drinking.
The Health Improvement Commission has funded the performance called 'Last Orders' for 10 years.
It tells a true story, of two young girls binge-drinking, and suffering the consequences.
Substance Use lead Andrea Nightingale says it is a 'thought-provoking piece', that is purposefully shown to young teenagers ahead of the festive season.
"At this age they really needs to learn about how alcohol can impact their behaviour, relationships and reputation, as well as loosing respect from their family and friends.
This may be the first time that the students go to house parties where alcohol may feature, so it is really important they have an awareness of what could happen if wrong choices are made."
