TV star unable to attend the Guernsey Literary Festival due to filming schedule.
His talk, Tales from the Wilderness, scheduled for Saturday 2 May, has been cancelled due to sudden changes in his filming schedule.
Festival director Claire Allen says, ‘We are disappointed that Ben has had to pull out so suddenly. Tickets were selling well to members even after just a few days. However, we have a great festival planned with a wide range of excellent speakers.’
The Festival is currently in talks with Ben Fogle and his team to reschedule the event for another time in the year, but in the meantime, ticketing agents TicketSource have been instructed to refund all ticket holders. For any future event with Ben, tickets will be offered to members first.
For anyone who has booked online or by telephone with TicketSource, the organisation will initiate a refund for the value of the tickets and booking fee. There will be notification of the refund in a separate email.
Anyone who has booked and paid by any other payment method should email admin@guernseyliteraryfestival.com.
Tickets for all the other Festival events go on sale today.
