A Blue Islands flight to Jersey returned to Guernsey after experiencing a technical issue after take-off. No one on board was injured.
Guernsey Ports say the runway was closed at 08.42 after the ATR 72 turned back to Guernsey.
The crew onboard flight SI 4408 reported a technical issue.
The plane landed safely, although as is standard procedure, the Airport Fire and Rescue Service was standing by.
Passengers were taken by bus to the terminal.

The runway reopened at 9.50am, but the incident meant several aircraft, including two Aurigny passenger planes, had to circle or divert back to the UK.
Aurigny says the incident is likely to cause delays to its schedule.
Blue Islands has arranged for an extra flight to get the passengers to Jersey.
