All States of Guernsey counter services will be open from Monday 22nd June, other than the Bulwer Avenue office which will re-open this coming Monday (15 June).
Public-facing counter services run by the States of Guernsey have been closed since the island went into lockdown, but as we move towards Phase 5 it has been possible to open the Driver and Vehicle Licensing service at Bulwer Avenue on Monday 15th June, followed by all other counter services on Monday 22nd June.
Even after all counter services have re-opened, customers are strongly encouraged to use online or telephone services wherever possible.
The Bulwer Avenue public-facing offices will operate normal opening times (09:00 – 16:00) but for the next week social distancing requirements will apply, which will include queue management outside of the building.
For these reasons it is strongly encouraged that customers only attend the offices next week if their driver and vehicle licencing (DVL) query is urgent and if they cannot resolve their query online, via post or email.
Information can be found at https://gov.gg/dvl and questions sent to dvl@gov.gg.
Practical and theory driving test bookings will be available from tonight (12 June), with services being re-introduced on a staggered basis from Wednesday 17th June. Bookings can be made at https://traffic.gov.gg or queries may be sent to drivingtest@gov.gg.
