The Dean of Guernsey will deliver his last service at the Town Church before he retires.
Islanders are invited to join The Very Revd Tim Barker in Town Church this evening (21 June), as he marks the end of his ministry in the Deanery of Guernsey.
All are welcome from 6.30pm.
"I will be delighted to see people from the churches of the Deanery of Guernsey, and the wider Guernsey community, at this service, which will be followed by a short drinks reception.
"This will be the opportunity for me to take leave of Guernsey and express my thanks for the privilege of ministering here for nearly eleven years."
He will officially step down on 31 July 2026.
Before then, farewell services will take place at St Andrews Church on 28 June, at Sark's St Peter's Church on 5 July, and at Alderney's St Anne's Church on 12 July.
From 1 August 2026 and until the installation of the next Dean, the Revd Canon Jon Honour will be the acting Dean.
