Two diamond rings boasting rare stones are up for sale at a Guernsey auction house, and could fetch a combined £200,000.
The rings sport the biggest diamonds ever seen by the island's auction house.
One of the pair, that comes from a private vendor in Jersey, features 10.03 carats set in 18ct white gold. This first diamond would set a buyer back £60,00 - £80,000.
The second piece of glittering jewellery, which features a bright yellow diamond in its centre, is 10.19 carats.
It's estimated to go for £100,000 - £120,000 when it is offered alongside its sister diamond at the winter fine art, antiques and jewellery auction in Guernsey next week.
Guy Cooper, valuer and auctioneer at Martel Maides, tells us the rings are very rare:
"We haven't had any rings of this value here in a really long time, and neither will most auction houses aside from the big two.
"(They are) really, really remarkable. I couldn't quite believe it when they arrived. I have certainly never handled diamonds of that importance so it is a great thrill."
The rings have gone on public viewing today (15 November) ahead of the sale on 20-21 November.
