Guernsey FC's womens team welcome Sutton United Women FC to Footes Lane.
The Green Lionesses will make history at 7:30pm tonight (5 February) when their first-ever home game commences.
The women's team was formed in 2023 to give female players an opportunity to progress in the sport.
Coach Anna Gauvain says they have played some good games away, but the ladies are looking forward to entertaining a home crowd.
"They'll be in the brand new purple kit tonight, I think it suits them and they will be pleased and proud to wear the shirt.
It just adds that bit more excitement knowing their friends and family can come and watch and support them, compared to when we are over in Jersey or the UK when there are very few people around watching us.
So hopefully the crowd will be nice and loud tonight".
Guernsey FC's men's team has been amongst the supporters, asking islanders to cheer on the ladies. The men were also due to be in action this evening away to Kingstonian, but that has been postponed.
