Police have closed the main Les Mielles Road in the Vale to allow fire crews access to a burning barn.
The Fire and Rescue Service and Police were called just after 06.45am today (27 February).
One fireman told us, the fire is 'sizeable.'

Smoke can be seen drifting across fields behind the house.
Hoses have been laid to a hydrant further down the road from Trev's motorcycles, but crews are understood to be using a water tanker instead.

There are a number of police cars parked by the bus terminus, below the hill known as The Doyle.
In addition to the major fire at Octopus restaurant, the fire service attended two minor domestic fires over the weekend.
The road re-opened at 9am but 20 minutes later it was closed again, as fire crews could see signs of it re-igniting.
It appears the fire is in an outbuilding of a substantial property known as The Hermitage.
