The Queen has approved the appointment of the new Deputy Bailiff.
Advocate Jessica Roland, the current Managing Partner of Mourant in Guernsey, will succeed Richard McMahon.
She and Mr. McMahon, who will become the new Bailiff, will be sworn in in May next year.
Mrs. Roland will become the first female Deputy Bailiff, since the inception of the position in 1969.
