The Channel Islands has been named the "number one place for foodies" according to the Good Food Guide 2020 by Waitrose & Partners.

The Guide lists the top 50 restaurants and eateries across Britain, 16 of which are in the Channel Islands.
Editors of the Guide have identified the regions with the best eating out, per capita.
The highest scoring restaurant in the Channel Islands was Bohemia restaurant in St. Helier, which placed No.21 out of 50
La Frégate was the highest placing restaurant in the Guide for Guernsey.
The Guide says of La Frégate that "the kitchen works to a conventional, French-inspired menu that takes full advantage of fish from local boats"
Other Guernsey restaurants included are Da Nello and the Octopus Bar and Restaurant.
The No.1 restaurant on the list is L’Enclume in Cumbria
