Guernsey Police are investigating after four birds were killed in land off the coast at St Peter's.
Police say that on Monday (12 May), between Rue De La Cache and Rue Des Vicheris, four chickens were killed and a cockerel was seriously injured.
This is the area inland from the coast, near the jumper factory and orchid fields.
Officers would like to talk to a woman seen riding a bike with two children and, police say, 'trying to gain control of two loose dogs,' which police believe to be boxers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
