Every year, readers of Condé Nast Traveller vote on destinations to be crowned "The best in the world."
Guernsey has been named the second-best island *'in the UK' by the British travel magazine Condé Nast Traveller.
The awards recognise standout destinations, comparing accommodation and experiences. Its categories for best islands include the UK, Europe, and the Caribbean.
The Isles of Scilly took the top spot, and Guernsey finished three places ahead of neighbouring Jersey.
VisitGuernsey has shared the results, saying it is "delighted" with the recognition.

1. Isles of Scilly. Score 90.78
2. Guernsey. Score 89.43
3. Isle of Arran. Score 89.34
4. Isle of Skye. Score 88.50
5. Jersey. Score 88.43
6. Hebrides. Score 87.50
7. Orkney. Score 86.88
8. Isle of Wight. Score 85.33
9. Shetland. Score 85.11
10. Isle of Man. Score 84.88
* Guernsey is not in the UK, but is a part of the British Isles.
