Sir Richard Cripwell was knighted at Windsor Castle this week.
His Excellency Lieutenant-General Sir Richard Cripwell has now received the knighthood announced in the King’s Birthday Honours List this summer.
The award recognises his service to the Bailiwick.
He travelled to Windsor Castle yesterday (19 November) with his wife, Lady Cripwell, and their children, Archie and Bella.
The Prince of Wales presented him with the honour.
Sir Richard has been Guernsey's Lieutenant-Governor, representing the crown, since 2022, after a distinguished military career.
