Repairs to the Havelet slipway near Castle Cornet are finally due to begin after it suffered damage during a storm in 2018.
The works were delayed by the Covid-19 pandemic, but are now set to be completed by October.
The States says the repairs have been scheduled for fair weather and low spring tides, and have been designed to be robust and better-able to withstand severe weather in the future.
Geomarine Ltd is the principal contractor following a tender process.
There is no public access while the work is being done and parking in the area has been suspended.
