A laser was pointed at a passenger plane arriving in Guernsey earlier this month.
Guernsey Police have just released details of the 'light attack' on the aircraft.
It happened at around 7.50pm on Monday 16th November.
The force says a powerful green laser light was pointed at an incoming commercial flight during its descent.
It was around a quarter of a mile south of Havelet Bay.
"Incidents like this, whilst rare, are treated extremely seriously and can cause severe distraction to pilots in a critical time of flight.
This not only endangers the aircraft and its passengers on board, but people on the ground below." - Bailiwick Law Enforcement.
Police say it is an arrestable offence to point a laser at an aircraft.
Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and has information, and to any private or business CCTV owners.
