Police enquiries continue following an incident at Folies nightclub.
Staff and members of the public inside Folies nightclub were evacuated shortly before closing time, in the early hours of this morning (10 May).
Around 5.30am, Guernsey Police informed the public via social media that they had received 'a threat'.
For a few hours a cordon was in place around the North Plantation area.
Around 9am the area became accessible to the public again.
Guernsey Police issued a second statement on social media confirming that they were investigating a bomb threat, but the area is safe, "We thank everyone for their understanding while we ensured there was no threat."
They also revealed a 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
