Man Arrested After Suspected Sexual Assault

A 27 year old man has been arrested after an alleged sexual assault in St Peter Port on Friday evening (15 Sept).

It's thought the incident happened at Ann's Place between 8 and 9pm.

Officers say the man was acting 'inappropriately and aggressively' towards a teenage girl at the St Julian's Avenue entrance to the area.

It's believed a number of people were walking, cycling and driving by at the time.

Anyone who witnessed the altercation, or has dashcam footage is asked to call the police on 01481 222222 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
