Man Club will host more mental health group sessions in a more central location.
Man Club is a local charity that works to combat male loneliness and suicide with confidential group sessions.
It currently runs a Monday session at Vale Rec and is launching a new one at Trinity Church tonight (26 March) to reach more men.
The sessions will run fortnightly on Wednesday evenings.
Group volunteer Paul Armstrong says men often feel like they have to hide their feelings.
"Men feel like they are measured by their competence and by their ability to regulate themselves and to take care of things.
"So to explain to the people around you that you are struggling and you're not sure that you can cope... that is a very difficult thing to admit."
Paul says island life can be lonely.
"We have a lot of people who are not native to the island.
"They move here and may not know anyone, or only know the people they work with or the family of their spouse and that can lead to some men feeling cut off."
