The latest radio listening figures show Guernsey’s Island FM has it biggest audience in five years.
Tindle Radio stations now deliver a combined weekly audience of 78,800 adults across the Channel Islands, up 5% on a year ago.
The latest RAJAR radio listening figures for Q1 2025 published today (15 May) see Island FM in Guernsey grow audience, listening hours and market share – to the highest level since the pandemic.
Island FM now reaches 31,000 people every week – one in two of Guernsey’s population. It's the highest number since 2020 and up 18 % on last year.
Weekly listening hours have soared to 13 per listener, and Island FM now delivers the biggest market share (40.2%) of any radio station, BBC or commercial, in the British Isles.
Sister-station Channel 103 in Jersey has maintained its position as market leader too, with a 54% reach – the highest reach percentage of any station in RAJAR survey.

RAJAR is the independent survey which tracks listening for both commercial and BBC stations. This release covers the period concluding March 2025.
