Deputy Steve Falla has been selected as Guernsey's new Lead for External Relations and Constitutional Affairs.
The position was left vacant after Deputy Johnathan Le Tocq was arrested - but not charged - for telecommunications offences on 21 July and blocked from committee business.
Policy and Resources says Deputy Falla will be in the role "for the time being" as the Rules of Procedure require this area to have a leader.
