Activities, music and commemoration will focus on St Peter Port for the 79th anniversary of Liberation.
Following the Covid years, when celebrations focused on the parishes, the spotlight for 2024 is back on St Peter Port.
The day will begin with the traditional parade and Town church service.
From midday, there'll be family fun in St Peter Port and the music and entertainment at Castle Cornet gets going at 11am, with free entry for all.
The military and vintage vehicle cavalcade will leave Pleinmont and wind its way along the coast to arrive in Town for 3pm, where it'll form a static display.
There's a 1940s concert on the Crown Pier between 5pm and 9pm and this year, the curtain closing fireworks will come from La Vallette because of work on the Castle Cornet Bridge.
Parish events will still feature. St Peter's is hosting a Liberation Day celebration on L’Eree Common, there's a tea party in the Vale and the Last Post pub is hosting a events for all ages.
Deputy Sue Aldwell sits on the organising committee and says 2025's celebrations will be a landmark:
"We are very much seeking to use this year as an opportunity to build momentum towards next year, which will be a huge event, like in previous years, as the island celebrates 80 years since our liberation."
