Beauty retailer Superdrug says its new shop in St Peter Port puts 15 new jobs into Guernsey's economy.
The new store opens today (5 June) on Smith Street, in the place of the old Poundland.
The national retailer is celebrating the launch with a fleet of glammed-up tuk tuks, decorated with eyelashes and lips, that will give complimentary rides to shoppers all day.
The opening of the shop means 15 permanent new jobs for Guernsey.

The health and beauty retailer came to the Channel Islands in 2019 with its shop on St Helier's high street.
Superdrug CEO, Peter Macnab, says they are looking forward to being part of the community:
“We are confident that the local community will love the new store, additionally, the opening will create 15 new jobs, further supporting the local economy and providing new career opportunities within the community."
