Two Teens Convicted Of Rape

Two teenage boys will be sentenced later in the year after Guernsey's Royal Court found them guilty of rape.

The pair, who can't be named because of their age, were also convicted of sexual assault and assault.

DC Sue Marshall says that Guernsey Police will always take offences like this 'extremely seriously'.

"I would like to commend the complainant in this case for their courage in coming forward. Sexual offences, and rape in particular, are always challenging, and we always endeavour to support victims and their families throughout the process."

Advice and support for victims of sexual assault.

Guernsey Police can be contacted on 01481 222222 or at the Police Headquarters on Hospital Lane.

A 24/7 sexual assault helpline will open on 1 October, with a number being published this month.
