An air and sea search was sparked over fears a kitesurfer was missing at sea.
A blue/green wingfoil was spotted near Seymour Tower on Monday (24 August).
The Channel Islands Air Search plane was launched to scour the area in windy conditions, along with the RNLI St Catherine's inshore lifeboat and the Fire Service rescue boat and an Air Search drone team.
The Lion's Pride located the wingfoil on rocks south of Icho Tower, off the island's south east coast. It was recovered by the Fire Service.
It was confirmed to have been lost from the French coast earlier that day, and Jersey Coastguard established that nobody was missing.
The search was stood down.
