The largest suicide prevention initiative in the British Isles is coming to Jersey this month.
Visit of the Baton of Hope coincides with the launch of Jersey’s new five-year suicide prevention strategy.
The baton will travel to 25 locations, making its way across the water to St Aubin, Elizabeth Castle, and Corbiere lighthouse.

Baton bearers at each location, including members of local community groups, bereaved families, and suicide survivors, will create a spectacle of hope, challenge the silence surrounding suicide, and be a show of optimism and gratitude.
Islanders are encouraged to come out and show their support along every stage of the route.
