10,000 people are booked to fly out of Jersey airport this weekend, as the school half-term holidays get underway.
46,000 passengers will pass through the arrivals and departures across the week.
Among them, those on six charter flights to Funchal, Malaga and Lanzarote.
Travellers are being advised to leave plenty of time to clear security and to remember that liquids need to be removed from hand luggage to go through the scanner.
Head of Security, Maria Le Tiec, said many flights will be departing within minute of each other.
“The temporary restriction on carrying liquids of more than 100ml in hand luggage remains for all UK airports, including Jersey. Such liquids must be taken out of your hand baggage and placed in a security tray, but they don’t need to be in a plastic bag.
“Any liquids in containers larger than 100ml need to be in checked-in hold baggage.”
