Emergency services were called to Mont Les Vaux last night after a car overturned.
The black Vauxhall Corsa flipped on its side at around 8:20pm on the bend near the former shell garden. Passing motorists called 999.
It was thought the vehicle might have suffered a fuel leak during the accident.
The driver and his passenger, both 17-year-old boys, managed to escape without any serious injuries and had the car towed away.
Mont Les Vaux was closed for a time but cleared and re-opened just after 10pm.
